In a pan, place the olive oil, whole garlic cloves (unpeeled) and bay leaves. Add the jasmine rice and let it fry for 1 minute. Cover with hot water and season with a pinch of salt. Let the rice cook for about 12 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a frying pan, add the olive oil and onion in half-moons. Add the sliced mushrooms and let them sauté.
Add the cream, ketchup, soy sauce, paprika and garlic powder. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Let the sauce cook for about 2 minutes.
Add the tuna (drained) and cook for another 2 minutes.
