Summer Basmati Brown Rice

Ingredients

Basmati Integral Taj - Arroz Oriente
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 cup of Basmati Brown Rice
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of peas
  • 140g cooked sweet corn
  • 150g diced ham
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. In a pan, sauté the onion with the oil.
  2. Add the chopped garlic, diced carrot and rice. Let it fry for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Cover with hot water and season with a pinch of salt. Let cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Add the peas and soy sauce. Let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Finally add the corn (drained) and ham to the rice.
