ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 large carrot
- 1 cup of Basmati Brown Rice
- 2 cups of water
- 1 cup of peas
- 140g cooked sweet corn
- 150g diced ham
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- In a pan, sauté the onion with the oil.
- Add the chopped garlic, diced carrot and rice. Let it fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Cover with hot water and season with a pinch of salt. Let cook for 15 minutes.
- Add the peas and soy sauce. Let it cook for another 5 minutes.
- Finally add the corn (drained) and ham to the rice.
