Parboiled Oriente rice with sausage and peppers

Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
1/2 red pepper
1/2 yellow pepper
1/2 green pepper
150 of spicy sausage
1 teaspoon turmeric (optional)
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1 cup steamed rice
1 pinch of salt
Parsley (to serve)
Preparation
In a saucepan, sauté the chopped onion in olive oil. Add the chopped garlic.
Cut the peppers into cubes and the sausage into slices. Add both to the pot.
Add 1 cup of rice and 1 tablespoon of turmeric. Mix.
Add the tomato and two cups of hot water. Season with salt, cover and leave cook over low heat for about 15 minutes.
Serve with fresh parsley.
