Oriente Long Grain clam rice

Ingredients

Agulha Pampa - Arroz Oriente
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1 cup of Oriente Long Grain rice
  • 2 + 1/2 cups of seafood broth
  • 500g of white clams
  • 1 pinch of salt

To serve:

  • Coriander (or parsley)
  • Lemon

Preparation

  1. In a pan put the chopped onion with the oil. Then add the peppers cut into cubes.
  2. Add the rice, broth and a pinch of salt. Cover and let it cook over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Finally, add the clams to the pan and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Serve the clam rice with chopped coriander and lemon.
