- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 cup of Orient Basmati Organic Rice
- salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 100g of brown mushrooms
- 150g guinea pig mushrooms
- Thyme (to serve)
Preparation
- Start by slicing the mushrooms.
- In a skillet put a strand of olive oil. Add the mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes. Reserve.
- In a saucepan, place 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the chopped onion. Shortly after, add the chopped garlic. Let it sauté for 1-2 minutes. Add the rice.
- Cover with 2 cups of hot water and season with salt to taste. Cover and let cook over low heat for about 8 minutes.
- After this time, add the mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve with thyme leaves.
