ingredients

- 3 shallots
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 chilli
- 2 teaspoons peanut oil (or coconut oil)
- 1/4 red pepper + 1/4 yellow pepper
- 2 cups of shredded chicken (180g)
- 2 + 1/2 cups jasmine rice (already cooked)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- Salt to taste
To serve (optional):
- 1/2 sliced cucumber
- 1 fried egg
- 1/4 of chilli
Preparation
- Roughly chop the shallots, garlic and chilli. Grind these ingredients in a processor until you obtain a paste.
- In a wok, place the oil and shallot, garlic and chilli paste. Let it fry for 2 minutes and then add the diced pepper.
- Add the chicken (previously cooked and shredded) to the wok.
- Add the rice, soy sauce and honey. Stir well to coat all Ingredients. Season with a pinch of salt if necessary.
- Serve Nasi Goren with sliced cucumber, a fried egg and some thin slices of chilli (optional).
