ingredients
- 1/2 cup of Extra Long Rice
- 1 cup of hot water
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 lemon zest
- 1 pinch of salt
- 180ml of water
- 2 tablespoons of butter (55g)
- 100g self-rising flour
- 4 eggs
- Sunflower oil q.b.
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
- Powdered sugar (optional)
Preparation
- In a pan put the rice, water, milk, brown sugar, cinnamon stick, lemon and salt. Let it cook over low heat until the rice absorbs all the liquid. leave cool.
- In a pan place the 180ml of water and butter. Bring to a boil for about 5 minutes, when it starts to boil, turn it off. Add flour and mix well until form a thick mass. Transfer to a bowl and let cool slightly.
- Add the eggs, one by one, and keep stirring. Finally add the cooked rice and grind all the ingredients with the magic wand or in the blender.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan. When hot, pour spoonfuls of dough prepared in oil. Let it fry until golden brown.
- Pass the dreams through a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. If desired, decorate with powdered sugar dust.
