Start by seasoning the hake steaks with lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Book for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile start preparing the rice. In a pot put the rice with hot water and salt. Cover and let the rice cook over low heat for about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, in another pan, place a drizzle of olive oil and the sliced garlic. Add the hake steaks. Gradually add the wine and cook for about 10 minutes.
Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
Add the clams to the hake, cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve hake à bulhão pato with rice. Finish with a generous dose of chopped parsley and lemon slices.
