In a skillet put a thread of olive oil and the chopped garlic. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes and then add the chopped tomatoes.
Add the tomato pulp, oregano, salt and black pepper.
Let the tomato sauce cook over low heat for about 5 minutes. Then add the minced meat and 1/2 cup of water, cover and cook for another 15-20 minutes over low heat.
Meanwhile, in a pan, add the olive oil and chopped onion. When the onion is braised, add the rice, hot water and salt. Let it cook on low heat for about 12 minutes.
Serve the rice with the Bolognese, roasted cherry tomatoes and basil.
