Oriente Long Grain rice porridge

ingredients

Arroz ORIENTE Longo Extra
  • 3/4 cup of Oriente Long Grain Rice (140g)
  • 600ml of almond drink (or milk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt

Toppings:

  • 1/2 mango
  • blueberries
  • zest of 1 orange
  • 2 teaspoons of honey (or maple syrup)

Preparation

  1. In a small pot mix the rice with the vegetable drink (or milk), vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Let the rice cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.
  2. Divide the rice porridge between two bowls. Add mango cubes, blueberries, orange zest and a generous drizzle of honey.
