Burgers with Carrot Basmati Whole Grain Rice

Arroz ORIENTE Longo Extra
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 large carrot
  • 3/4 cup brown basmati rice
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 hamburgers
  • Vegetables to taste (cucumber, olives, red pepper)

Preparation

  1. Start by frying the burgers in a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil.
  2. In a saucepan, place the olive oil and chopped onion.
  3. Add the grated carrot and let it braise. Then add the Brown Basmati Rice.
  4. Cover the rice with 1 + 1/2 cup of hot water and a pinch of salt.
  5. Cover and cook for about 18 minutes over low heat.
  6. Transfer the burger to a plate and arrange the carrot rice around it. add cucumber slices and olive halves for eye shapes. Finish with pepper red to draw a mouth.
